Technology is once again in the spotlight during the Dutch Technology Week (DTW) from 31 May to 5 June.
This year, TU Eindhoven is again closely involved in the event that provides a platform for technology and the high-tech industry in Eindhoven and the Brainport region.
The high-tech industry is an important sector of the Dutch economy. The sector contributes to the development of solutions for social issues and really delivers top performances. And we are very proud of that! To share this proud feeling, companies, governments and knowledge institutions are working together on a week full of technological surprises. During the DTW everyone can see, feel and experience how promising and challenging it is to participate in inventions that change the world.

Since 2011, Smart City Expo World Congress has been at the vanguard of change for cities, constantly pushing to create a better urban life by empowering citizens and enabling more efficient and inclusive urban services.
This special 10th anniversary edition of Smart City Expo World Congress will be a hybrid experience. While the physical event returns to Barcelona, a parallel digital program of talks and workshops will be broadcast online, taking SCEWC into its next decade with a new, cross-platform approach and a widened community.
The event’s digital program will be hosted by Tomorrow City, the year-round platform dedicated to accelerating the smart city industry.
The winners of all Citython Editions (Eindhoven, Bilbao & Barcelona, Hamburg and Lublin) will present their winning solutions at the round table during the event.

The ITS World Congress is the world’s largest and most prominent event focused on smart mobility and the digitalisation of transportation.
The Congresses are the yearly celebration of smart mobility: they underline the importance of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), particularly in cities and regions where they are hosted and are important channels to raise awareness of smart mobility solutions among policymakers, experts and the general public. They include live sessions where industry experts present the latest developments in ITS, a showcase of cutting-edge technology and an exhibition space.
During this year event, the winners of the CITYTHON HAMBURG project will present their winning solutions on the stage of ITS Hamburg next 15 October.
